Tickets on sale for charities biggest fundraising event of the year

Northampton Saints Foundation is delighted to announce their fourth Foundation Day, is set to take place on Good Friday, 29th March, when Northampton Saints face Saracens in the Gallagher Premiership.

As the charity arm of Northampton Saints, the Foundation use the power of sport and the values of rugby to inspire, support and education thousands of people each year, through their social inclusion and education programmes.

Financially independent from the club, the Foundation must raise over £500,000 this year, to continue their life changing work, with Foundation Day helping to get closer to the target.

Kicking off the Easter weekend under the Friday night lights (kick-off 7.45pm), at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, the annual event will involve activities and fun for the whole family.

Rugby fans can expect chances to meet Northampton Saints’ players in the Supporter Village, various activities around the ground, a half time activation and a raffle and auction, with an aim to raise money, so they can support more people in need through their education and social inclusion programmes.

Keepmoat, a well-established company delivering high-quality homes and regeneration projects, have chosen to sponsor Foundation Day, with the work of the Foundation closely aligned to their CSR strategy.

Sam Gartside, Finance Director at Keepmoat said “We’re delighted to sponsor Northampton Saints Foundations’ Foundation Day, supporting their important work to connect with people in need through their education and social inclusion programmes. At Keepmoat we’re proud of our commitment to building sustainable communities and engaging with local residents. Through different initiatives, including this partnership, we’re able to highlight opportunities and support available for young people”.

Sharing their support as a flag sponsor for Foundation Day, is finance brokerage, Approved Business Finance who have supported the Foundation for a number of years through fundraising and volunteering.

“Our Foundation Day mission is simple, the more money we raise, the more people we can help” said Catherine Deans, Managing Director at Northampton Saints Foundation. “We are thrilled Keepmoat and Approved Business Finance are supporting the event, helping to contribute to the success of the day, but also helping to make a lasting difference to the lives of those we support.”

“We are looking forward to the game being broadcast in front of the TNT Sports cameras and under ‘Friday night lights’ for the very first time, which will create a new, exciting dynamic for the biggest fundraising event of our year. We hope you can join us!”

Tickets to the game can be purchased here and anyone who makes a donation to the Foundation when purchasing their tickets, will be entered into a Christmas party for 10 at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, kindly donated by Levy UK + Ireland.
