The Lewis Foundation partners with Purple Oaks Academy to support adult cancer patients in hospital

We are proud to share that The Lewis Foundation has been selected as Purple Oaks Academy chosen charity, as the pupils want to be a part of supporting us in giving back to adult cancer patients in hospital.
During the festive period the Post 16 students organised their own charity fundraiser to support us by creating and selling their own Christmas Cards, in addition to baking and making items. They raised an incredible £173.50, so they could be a part of providing gifts to cheer people up and make people smile in hospital.
The students came to visit Lorraine and Lee Lewis (founders of the charity), see first hand how we operate and learn how their fundraising efforts will make a difference.
Purple Oaks Academy is a school for students with autism and/or severe learning difficulties. We are proud as a charity the academy wants to partner with us and look forward to working together with them to give back and make a difference in the local community.
