Saturday 3rd December 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the annual Small Business Saturday UK campaign and this year, NNBN are calling for councils, business networks, small businesses and customers to get involved and support the campaign.

Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.

The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.

On Small Business Saturday, customers across the UK go out and support all types of small businesses, online, in offices and in stores. Many small businesses take part in the day by hosting events and offering discounts.

In the build up to the 10th annual campaign, NNBN will be inviting businesses from across North Northamptonshire to participate in a campaign to promote their business and say why people should shop local and also helping local people to understand what small businesses are in North Northamptonshire.
