As a charity we are absolutely delighted to share about our incredible partnership with Unimed Procurement Services.

A partnership that came about as a result of both ourselves and founder Shameet Thakkar being listed in Great British Entrepreneur Awards & Community – Entrepreneur for Good in 2022.

There is an alignment between the work Unimed Procurement does in sourcing and supplying quality healthcare products to hospitals and clinics around the world. In that we both focus on health care and making a difference to people in the community experiencing health issues who really need our support.

Shameet together with the support of Anne Mayfield and the rest of the team, after hearing more about our work have chosen to support our charity.

They have invested in our work to enable us to provide our packs to adult cancer patients University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust to provide the necessary support to stop the isolation, boredom, loneliness patients experience daily, in addition to not being able to afford the items we provide. For us as a charity investment of this nature is key to enable us to do the work we do.

The team will also be hands on supporting our work in the community – packaging gifts, helping us to source items we need for our packs, fundraising and also providing direct patient support by gifting their time.

We are excited about this wonderful partnership, which will make a difference to recipients with support and their loved ones going through the most difficult time of their lives.
