Trilogy Leisure, which operates Cripps Recreation Centre, Danes Camp, Duston Sports Centre, Lings Forum, The Mounts Baths and the Forum Cinema as well as Berzerk Soft Play Centre has announced its Managing Director John Fletcher has been elected with 14 leaders from across the UK to ukactive’s new Membership Council.

Ukactive is a not-for-profit fitness industry association. The Membership Council represents the voice of ukactive members to the ukactive Board, to shape and inform ukactive’s work, and to help ensure the whole membership is engaged and up to date with ukactive’s plans.

“I am absolutely delighted to represent Trilogy Leisure and the population of Northampton on this nationally significant Council,” said John Fletcher, the Managing Director of Trilogy Leisure.

“As we continue to come out of lockdown, the recovery of the health and fitness sector across the town, the region and the UK is more important than ever.

“Being elected by our national peers is recognition that our experience and our expertise can be used and shared by others.”

The new council members were elected following a six-week application and voting process which ran throughout November and December 2021, and each brings a fresh injection of expertise and ideas from ukactive’s membership.
