The University of Northampton’s Fashion Marketing & Promotion team are currently looking to build relationships with local organisations who may be interested in hosting a work experience student.

At the University we value the importance of gaining work experience alongside academic studies, in order to provide students with the skills and knowledge to enhance their careers. We are currently seeking volunteer host organisations who would be willing to accommodate a student for a maximum of 120 hours work experience during February-May 2023.

For you as a business, it has been repeatedly shown that taking on a placement student can also benefit the placement provider. You have the opportunity to tap into the student’s wealth of knowledge, skills and resources to help develop your service / organisation.

It is expected that the student will operate when possible as a member of your team and should prove to be a valuable asset throughout the placement.

What’s involved for you as a host company:

• Host a student for a maximum of 120 hours.
• There is no financial commitment, just some of your time to support the student during the placement.
• You will have the choice of who you offer the placement to and how students should apply.
