On Thursday 9th December Northamptonshire Health Charity will be holding a virtual Light up a Life event for this year, with the opportunity to remember and celebrate life in a positive way.
The charity supports local NHS hospitals and community services including, Northampton General (NGH) and Kettering General Hospitals (KGH) and all those under Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, funding projects above and beyond what the NHS provides.
“We received some lovely feedback about last year’s event, which we had to do virtually due to the pandemic,” explains Alison McCulloch, Head of Fundraising, “You are welcome to join us for our third Light Up a Life celebration by dedicating a light on the Christmas trees at Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals.”
Dedicate a light in memory of someone special or as a gift for loved ones. They are £5 each or 3 for £10 with all proceeds going the charity’s General Fund to benefit projects and initiatives seeking to enhance patient care and experience and support NHS staff wellbeing across all three local NHS Trusts.
For your donation, a light on the trees at the Billing Road entrance at NGH or in The Atrium at KGH will be dedicated in the name of your loved one and you will receive a commemorative card with their name. You also have the opportunity to write a dedication for the special Light up a Life page on the charity’s website and email a photo to accompany your dedication.
