As part of a focus for Baby Loss Awareness Week a few weeks ago, Northamptonshire Health Charity Community Fundraiser, Lorraine Devereux organised a Curry and Quiz Night at The Raj in Kettering.
There was an amazing turnout with 70 people taking part in their teams to help raise money for the Twinkling Stars appeal for the new maternity bereavement suite at Kettering General Hospital. Thanks to everyone who took part and all those who purchased raffle tickets the event raised a fantastic £1,158 for the appeal.
Emma Melville, Charity Support Assistant said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets for the event, purchased raffle tickets and of course a very special thank you to our fantastic Quizmaster, Simon Cox from KGH Radio!”
Lorraine added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have raised £1,158 for Twinkling Stars and we are already looking at organising another Curry & Quiz Night at The Raj sometime in spring so keep those eyes open for details coming soon!”
