Britain’s Got Talent – Audition

Back in February I got the honour of surprise nominating one of my students, Nathan, to audition for Britains Got Talent at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester.

As part of the nomination I got to surprise Nathan with Alesha Dixon, who came to one of my dance classes to invite him to audition. He was shocked and delighted to be asked!

It was an incredible experience for us both, we performed the Chacha to ‘Try Everything’ which is Nathan’s favourite dance in front of the judges and a full theater audience who cheered us all the way.

We finished the audition with a standing ovation! Then we heard from the judges, and to our amazement Bruni gave us a shimmy, which was Nathan’s dream to shimmy with him. We got 4 fabulous yes’es!!! And left the stage elated and overjoyed!

It was a dream come true for both of us and we had so much fun on the audition day with the whole team. Nathan’s parents are beyond proud and the support from our dance school as well as the public has been amazing, we are so grateful!
