Business Development and Marketing Administrator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Administrator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and driving the growth of our company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with proficiency in software tools such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Canva and Flexiroute to manage customer relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective customers, showcasing our products and services.
  • Track sales metrics and report on performance against targets using ECT Social Value calculator.
  • Attend events and networking functions to promote the company and establish connections.
  • Develop editorial for local advertising.
  • Support the customer service team with daily activities.
  • Grant application compilation.
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • A UK Driving Licence and own car will be vital to this role.
