An effective Telesales call is not just about picking up the phone and “going for it”. To win business and achieve your call objectives it needs to capture your prospect’s attention, immediately build credibility and quickly develop a relationship.

Delivered by the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the University of Bedfordshire, this workshop is designed to show you how to effectively make calls to achieve the desired outcome, i.e., sale or an appointment. You will:
- Gain a better understanding as to why the customers buy and how they would like to be treated
- Learn how to identify the ‘unique selling proposition’ (USP) of your business and how to communicate this to your prospect
- Learn how to quickly build rapport over the telephone with the use of communication techniques, identifying and adapting to different personality types
- Understand why listening is important in the sales process and how to actively listen
- Learn how to identify key objectives of the call, effectively plan it, including information gathering, and how to get around the “gatekeeper”
- Learn about opening statements, helping you gain interest and overcome objections
- Learn how to effectively close a call to win business
You will leave this workshop with the ability to make telesales calls that will have an immediate impact on your business.
