We are delighted to share the news that Your Community Card by Reward-It has won two silver awards at the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards!

We have achieved silver for Best Enterprising Business and the Positive Impact Award, two awards that we are incredibly proud of as it acknowledges the innovation Your Community Card has shown in its quest to support small and medium sized businesses.

How are we making a difference?

Your Community Card is already thriving in 6 areas in North West Leicestershire. The community’s very own Hex loyalty card was launched at the beginning of March, and in the first 3 months, the scheme has brought in £32,000 worth of loyalty points across the 50 businesses participating.

Additionally, Your Community Card is currently onboarding businesses in six districts in Essex. The launch of the Essex+ reward program enables regular local shoppers to build points and collect rewards across participating independent businesses, bringing footfall to the high streets instead of even more shopping moving online.

As a growing loyalty scheme provider, Your Community Card hopes to support even more businesses across the country, by introducing them to a unique loyalty programme which puts the unity in community.

Why does it work?

Attracting a new customer is likely to cost 5 times as much as keeping an existing one. For the small to medium independent high street retailers between 70 – 80% of the revenue is realised by repeat customers. To encourage existing shoppers to return, Your Community Card creates motivation to keep coming back through rewards. Shoppers are more inclined to shop somewhere when they are driven by a chance to earn points, which is where our digital loyalty scheme comes in.

Not only are customers able to collect points across multiple local businesses with just one card, but they can also collect their points and see them build up using their smartphone thanks to each business’s unique page on the customer app.

As this unique scheme brings multiple businesses together onto one card, the regional loyalty scheme is simple and easy – and also reduces the use of plastic, making Your Community Card environmentally friendly!
