In 1920, Snap-on started with an idea that revolutionised professional tool sets across the industry. Joseph Johnson and William Seidemann pioneered the idea of taking five handles of different configurations and ten sockets of varying dimensions and fashioning them to “Snap-on” to each other interchangeably. Planning your day! Using the dedicated point of sale system you can easily prepare your bespoke sales pitch for every customer

Our Support System
Never run your own business before? No problem.
We’ve trained over 400 franchisees in the UK – people just like you. Training starts with nine days of classroom-style training where you will learn how to run a successful Snap-on franchise. Then it’s time to collect your own custom-built mobile store and meet the associates who will support you on a daily basis.
Once you’re out on the road, your one-to-one training continues with your dedicated Franchise Developer who will be with you for your first four weeks. As part of our six-month intensive on-boarding process, you’ll then receive a further 30 days of on-van support from a Sales Developer and Business Manager – that’s 50 contact days in your first six months!
Support for life
Our team of 165 head office associates support you in all areas of your business; from sales and marketing to product, IT and finance. After your six-month on-boarding programme, a Franchise Performance Team is available to help support your business every step of the way.
- Your Business Manager will regularly work with you to analyse your business and identify areas for growth.
- Your Sales Developer will help you to identify ways that can help maximise your sales potential.
- We hold monthly and quarterly franchisee forums, an annual conference and our legendary tool show.
