So what’s happening with summer holidays this year?

Today Jet2 has cancelled all flights and holidays up until 23rd June 2021 and we expect others to follow in the next couple of days.

It is very unlikely that your be able to travel outside the UK without restrictions until November 2021

How do we come to this?

Take France for an example, yesterday (09/04/21) there was 85,000 recorded new positive covid results. 365 daily deaths and only 3 million people vaccinated.
It will be not be very relaxing if you had a holiday in France when you would need to have a covid test before you go, self isolate when you arrive, another covid test before you leave and self isolate when you get home.
On top off that France is in total lockdown so no shops, cafes or bars are allowed to open. Not going to be a great summer holiday.

So what can you do?

It has been said many times that this year is a staycation. We can not guarantee the sun but there is something for everyone.

All the cruise liners are offering 3-7 nights cruises around the British Isle’s including Disney Cruises.

There are UK holiday parks where the family can have lots of fun, such as Centre Parc and other similar places.

Or hire a motor home and tour the UK or go glamping on the Isle of Wight…….

Looking ahead we are taking bookings for 2022 and 2023 when we hope the world will be back to some sort of normality.
