Show Me Your Thing
19 Nov 2026
Event
Title: Show Me Your Thing
Venue: Hilton Northampton, 100 Watering Lane, Collingtree, Northampton, NN4 0XW
Description: A hard-hitting International Men’s Day event opening up honest conversations around men’s health and mental wellbeing
On International Men’s Day, Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce will host a powerful and honest event designed to get men talking.
Show Me Your Thing is not a typical business lunch. It is a direct, open and important conversation about men’s mental health, physical wellbeing, personal struggles and the pressures that often sit behind professional life.
Too many men carry things quietly.
Stress. Anxiety. Grief. Burnout. Depression. Health worries. Family pressures. Financial strain. The fear of speaking up. The pressure to keep going, even when something is wrong.
This event has been created to challenge that silence.
Taking place on Thursday 19 November, from 10:30am to 1:00pm at Hilton Northampton, Show Me Your Thing will bring together Chamber members, business leaders, local health charities, wellbeing professionals, doctors and guest speakers for a hard-hitting session focused on real stories, practical support and honest discussion.
Hosted by Kevin Rogers, a past President of the Chamber, the event will blend hosted table discussions alongside honest contributions from guests including:
our very own Sunny Singh,
Chamber Board Member Richard Davis,
local tailor and mental health advocate Nicholas Simon; and
keynote from Dr Suzanne Brown
Each helping to open up a wider conversation around men’s health and the role businesses, colleagues, outside interests, friends and communities can play in supporting one another.
This is about more than awareness. It is about creating space for men to say what they are carrying, to understand they are not alone, and to be signposted towards the right support when they need it.
Throughout the event, attendees will hear personal stories, professional insight and practical advice around mental health, wellbeing and the importance of early conversations. Local health charities and wellbeing specialists will also be involved, helping attendees understand what support is available across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.
The aim is simple | To make it easier for men to talk | To encourage businesses to take men’s health seriously | To open conversations that could genuinely change lives.
This event is free to attend and open to both Northamptonshire Chamber and the Milton Keynes Chamber communities.
Who should attend?
This event is for men who may find it difficult to talk about their health, women who want to stand with them, employers who want to better support their teams, colleagues who want to understand how to have meaningful conversations, and anyone who believes men’s health deserves to be spoken about openly, without judgement or stigma.
Why this event matters
Men’s health is still too often hidden behind humour, silence or the words “I’m fine.”
Show Me Your Thing has been created to open the door to those conversations in a way that is real, respectful and practical.
This will be an honest event. It will be emotional. It will be direct. It will not shy away from difficult subjects.
But it will also be supportive, constructive and focused on helping people leave with more understanding, more confidence and clearer routes to support.

Ahead of the event
