Important Event Information: Content Advisory, Privacy & Liability Release
Please read the following information carefully before completing your booking. By requesting a ticket and/or registering for and/or attending this event, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. Content Warning & Nature of the Event
This event, including the “Show Me Your Thing” interviews and subsequent group discussions, is designed to facilitate open, honest conversations around men’s mental health. The discussions will be raw, real, and deep.
As a result, speakers and participants may share personal experiences that touch upon sensitive and potentially distressing themes, including but not limited to:
• Severe mental health struggles and emotional distress
• Self-harm
• Suicide and suicidal ideation
2. Strict Prohibition on Recording and Photography
To maintain a safe, trusting, and completely confidential environment, all forms of audio and or video recording by attendees are strictly prohibited within the event spaces. We ask that photographs are not taken during the on stage interviews.
• Enforcement: Any attendee found streaming, or making audio or video recordings of any part of the event (including interviews, presentations, or group discussions) will be in breach of these conditions.
• Removal from Venue: We reserve the right to immediately revoke your entry license and ask you to leave the venue. No refunds or compensation will be provided in these circumstances.
3. Personal Responsibility, On-Site Support & Assumption of Risk
While we strive to create a supportive and respectful environment, this event is a platform for sharing personal stories and strategies — it does not constitute medical advice, clinical therapy, or professional counselling.
• Informed Attendance: You acknowledge the nature of the topics to be discussed and choose to attend and participate voluntarily.
• Self-Care & On-Site Support: You agree to take full responsibility for your own emotional and psychological well-being during and after the event. If you find any content triggering, distressing, or overwhelming, you are encouraged to step away or remove yourself from the discussion.
A clinical psychologist will be available on site throughout the event to provide immediate guidance and signpost attendees to professional support services if required.
• Emergency Signposting: We are not an acute crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, you agree to seek immediate professional assistance from the NHS (111/999), the Samaritans (116 123), or the on-site support team.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, the event organisers, hosts, venue, and speakers accept no liability for any psychological distress, emotional harm, or personal trauma experienced as a result of attending, listening to, or participating in this event. (Note: Nothing in this disclaimer seeks to limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.)
5. Confidentiality and Mutual Respect
To ensure a safe space for everyone to talk openly, you agree to respect the privacy of fellow attendees. Any personal disclosures made by participants during group discussions must be kept strictly confidential and must not be shared outside the event space.

I specifically agree to the strict no-recording policy and understand that I will be asked to leave if I breach this condition. I note that an on-site clinical psychologist will be available for signposting, and I agree to take responsibility for my own well-being and to respect the confidentiality of other attendees.
