Local AI Specialist Launches Two New Programmes as Demand for Practical AI Support Accelerates

Following a series of highly popular “Hour with an Expert” AI advisory sessions delivered to organisations across the region, Northamptonshire-based Talisman AI has announced the launch of two new structured initiatives designed to help organisations adopt AI with clarity, control and commercial focus.

The move comes in response to consistent feedback from participating organisations — many of whom expressed a desire for practical structure rather than hype-led experimentation or a ‘tools first’ approach.

Commenting on the launch, Founder Roger Wilson said: “What we kept hearing was that organisations don’t want to rush into tools. They want clarity. They want confidence. And they want a way to move forward that feels commercially grounded and responsible – basically, less guess work and less of an ad hoc approach.”

In response, Talisman has developed Wayfinder Academy and Wayfinder Orchestrate — At the heart of both initiatives is a simple position: AI is not a race to adopt tools, but a discipline of clarity, direction and sound judgement.

Wayfinder Academy – Two Academies, One Philosophy

Wayfinder Academy is a structured, small-cohort capability / learning programme designed to build internal confidence and practical working methods around AI.

They are practical, fun 6 week cohort based training (for teams or individuals) to help people get confident with AI tools; enabling the people to build their own ‘AI team-mates’, collaborate and cohere AI way’s of working, apps & workflows and generally get a solid grip of AI to save time, grow business, and scale impact.

The Wayfinder Academy comprises two distinct but aligned programmes of 90 minute online workshops over a 6 week period:

  • Wayfinder Foundation Academy – designed to give organisations, teams and individuals structured clarity around AI; helping understand where it adds real value, where it doesn’t, and how to approach AI adoption in a way that reduces risk, improves decision quality and strengthens long-term capability.

  • Wayfinder AI Tools Academy – designed to enable organisations, teams and individuals to use modern AI tools confidently, responsibly and productively within their existing roles and workflows. It’s intended to be more hand on and practical.

Wilson explained: “This isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about building real capability around AI and all that it can offer — capability that lasts beyond a single tool or platform. In a nutshell, it’s helping people ‘get good with AI’.”

The first Academy cohorts are scheduled to commence early in April. Expressions of Interest are now being invited while final scheduling is confirmed. Demand is already building, and cohort sizes will be intentionally limited to maintain quality and depth.

Wayfinder Orchestrate – Connecting Systems, Removing Friction

Alongside the Academy, Talisman has also launched Wayfinder Orchestrate — a structured orchestration layer designed to connect disconnected business systems and streamline operational workflows.

Many organisations rely on multiple software platforms — CRM, finance, compliance, operations — which often operate in silos (and an awful lot of copying and pasting between disparate systems). Orchestrate introduces coherence between those systems, reduces duplication, improves visibility and applies controlled AI where it adds measurable value. It effectively joins them up.

Wilson added: “Most growing organisations don’t need more tools — they need their existing systems to work together properly. That’s where orchestration becomes transformational. For a modest investment, they can create efficiencies and reduce risk which will provide rapid return on investment and return on effort”

A number of organisations have already engaged Talisman regarding implementation of the Orchestration model and are benefitting with streamlined practices and processes. Initial findings suggest time saving of c 10-15 hours per week per member of staff, releasing them for higher value productivity.

A Maturing Approach to AI

The launch reflects a broader shift in how regional organisations are approaching AI — moving away from reactive experimentation and towards structured, commercially grounded adoption.

“As a region, we’re seeing organisations move from AI curiosity to capability,” Wilson said.
“The question is no longer whether AI will shape your sector — it’s whether you will shape how it’s applied inside your organisation.”

With Expressions of Interest now open for the first Wayfinder Academy cohorts, and multiple organisations already progressing Orchestration discussions, Talisman anticipates strong uptake early in the new fiscal year.

Organisations wishing to secure early engagement are invited to register their interest via the Talisman AI website.
