On Thursday, 12th February 2026, The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation (TMDF) hosted its latest large-scale distribution operation at its Food & Essentials Hub in Moulton Park.  The operation focused on the coordinated delivery of pre-prepared food parcels, ensuring families across the community received timely support during the school holiday period. 

Local school partners were integral to the operation’s success.  As part of its Schools Partnership Programme, TMDF currently collaborates with over 90 schools across Northamptonshire to ensure support reaches those in most need.  During the distribution, these partners collected parcels for specific families they had identified as requiring assistance, a collaboration that remains vital to ensuring TMDF directs resources efficiently and effectively.

The scale of the operation was significant; through the combined efforts of volunteers and partner organisations, a total of 1,237 bags of food and essential items were distributed throughout the morning.  This output reflects both the current levels of local demand and the effectiveness of the charity’s coordinated response. 

The distribution was bolstered by a diverse group of community and corporate supporters, including: 

• The Moulton Masters Walking Football Team 

• DSV (Corporate Volunteer Team) 

• TMDF volunteers: Liz and Irene, and  

• Community volunteer Jayshree. 

The collective contribution of these groups ensured the Hub operated seamlessly, underscoring the value of cross-sector partnerships in addressing regional challenges.
