Empowering innovation, collaboration and digital transformation across Northamptonshire

Digital Northants is a thriving community driving innovation, collaboration and digital growth across the region. By joining, businesses gain access to shared knowledge, local partnerships and opportunities to shape the future of Northamptonshire’s digital economy.

Richard Beards and Rob Howe manage the Digital Northants initiative and will talk about some of the benefits of being involved.

AI beyond efficiency

Eric Bye is an AI consultant based in Northamptonshire and works with businesses to maximise the value they gain from modern AI.

Most people start with efficiency when they think about AI. Automation will save time and money – but anything you can automate, your competitors and customers can also automate. The opportunity is to combine your expertise, data and relationships with AI to create value that compounds rather than simply time saved. In this session Eric shows leaders how to move past quick wins and build durable advantages.

Expect practical examples, a straightforward way to spot high value use cases, and takeaways you can apply immediately. Outcomes include better products and services, stronger client relationships and tools that guide and develop employees throughout their journey in your organisation. Going beyond efficiency is how you avoid a race to the bottom and get the most from today’s generative AI.

Collaborate to compete – Unlocking the power of digital for your business

Stuart Smith is Head of Innovation for dbfb Communications, a local IT and technology provider.

Stuart will talk about the power of collaboration within the Digital Northants community and across the wider region. He will cover networking with stakeholders and collaborating with like-minded businesses and partners.

He will also discuss co-developing digital projects, piloting them and taking them to market. The goal is to drive local growth, support skills development and create job opportunities in the area.

Q&A panel discussion: AI and the Digital Northants community with Stuart, Eric, Rob and Richard to close the session.
