Joey is a Research Fellow at the University of Hertfordshire (UH) working on a workplace wellbeing research project exploring free workplace health and wellbeing initiatives, known as WHISPAs.
The project looks at how WHISPAs are delivered by local government and experienced by small and medium-sized enterprises.

At this stage, Joey is hoping to build local connections, learn more about what workplace wellbeing support is currently available across Northamptonshire and identify potential routes for future interviews and focus groups with SME employers and employees.

The research is interested in hearing from both those who do and do not offer or engage with WHISPAs. Joey’s workstream focuses on understanding the barriers and facilitators to the adoption, engagement and sustainment of WHISPAs for employers and employees, including what works well, what does not and why.
