Northamptonshire Health Charity is thrilled to share the news that they raised a fantastic £808 for the Northampton General Hospital children’s wards outside play area appeal from a recent wine tasting event at the end of November!

“This was our first ever wine tasting event so we are really pleased it was such a success and raised this wonderful amount for our appeal,” said Community Fundraiser, Michelle Leighton.

The charity would like to thank everyone who bought tickets and the wonderful Duncan Murray of Duncan Murray Wines, Market Harborough for putting on such a fabulous and engaging event.  “It was really quite fascinating to learn so much about the wines being tasted and to learn a few tricks of the profession,” said Rob Powell.

The funds raised from the evening have been added to the charity’s fundraising total for the appeal, which has now reached a whopping £40,430!
