Virtual base offered by town centre workspace

Local businesses looking for a virtual base can now use Northampton’s Vulcan Works as a registered office address.
The town centre workspace is offering the new service for 2026, meaning companies can secure a Northampton business location for their letterheads without paying out for an actual office space.
The registered office address service is available to virtual office and coworking customers of the hub.
Virtual office and coworking customers also get access to The Wire, a new digital platform launched by Oxford Innovation Space (OIS) to connect more than 900 businesses across its network of innovation centres in the UK and Ireland, of which Vulcan Works is one.
Centre manager Garrick Hurter said: “Businesses can now use our Registered Office Address Services to portray a professional image in a great business location, while protecting their personal privacy and avoiding the cost of an actual office space should they not need it.
“The option is available to both our coworking clients and our virtual office customers and is a great way to get people connected into your community before you need space, or to keep connected with them should you give up an office.
“Every business needs an address for correspondence, Companies House, or their website and this solves a problem for many. We look forward to welcoming new businesses into the Vulcan Works fold this year, whether virtually or in person.”
A registered office address at Vulcan Works starts at just £40 per month, which includes two free days of coworking.
