Tunnel Trek – Walk for Sight Loss
Saturday 19th October, 9:30am | Sign Up Now
Join us on a 7km walk that celebrates and highlights the incredible lives and experiences of people living with sight loss. Sign in and grab your Tunnel Trek T-shirt at Draughton Crossing Car Park, before we head along the Brampton Valley way. We will pass through the 480m Kelmarsh Tunnel where you will be plunged into darkness, encouraging teamwork and giving a brief insight into life with visual impairment. At the halfway point we will stop for refreshments before heading back through the tunnel and finish at the car park.
Don’t forget, we will also be joined on the Trek by Northampton’s mayor, Cllr Paul Joyce, as well as NAB client, Carl Peach, who will be doing the walk as part of his fundraising challenge to walk 10 million steps in 12 months.
We ask for a £5 registration fee and encourage people to seek sponsorship from family and friends.
If you need ideas or help with your fundraising, get in touch. Our fundraising team is on hand to help increase your fundraising. All funds raised from this event will support the essential work we provide.
Dust off your walking boots and join us for a day to remember – please email esther@nab.org.uk or call 01604 719 193.
