TotalQ increases community investments
Oxford City Football Club has revealed process and business improvement consultancy TotalQ as the new sponsors of the main stand.
Founded by Martin Spackman, who is Oxford born and bred, and now based within Rushden, the business has partnered with Oxford City to give back to the community.
The ‘TotalQ Stand’ was unveiled at the M-Group Stadium on Saturday at City’s first home match of the National League North season against Macclesfield Town.
TotalQ has backed City on a multi-year agreement to become an official Club partner that will also see the company distribute tickets to local schools to further give back.
The company specialises in quality and supplier management and has more than 20 years’ experience within automotive quality management.
Mr Spackman said: “I grew up in Barton and have been a massive supporter of football in Oxford all my life. I am fortunate to be in a position where I can give back and with Oxford City’s strong connection with the community it was ideal for me.
“The stand looks fantastic, there are ambitious plans at the club and a strong business community, so it’s an exciting time. I’m proud to be part of the club and its community activities and look forward to helping it continue to thrive.
“The community aspect for me is incredibly important and our partnership includes providing match tickets for a local school so pupils to enjoy watching football as much as I do.”
Justin Merritt, Oxford City owner said: “Martin and TotalQ is a wonderful example of a business with local roots wanting to give back to their community and we look forward to strengthening the partnership over the course of the season and in the years to come.
“We’re delighted to have named the main stand as The TotalQ Stand and thank Martin for the company’s support.”
TotalQ provide specialised services in quality management, alongside offering temporary staff support for seamless operational execution. They also provide cost and process saving support for all industries utilising years of automotive best practice.
