Last week our Founders Lorraine and Lee Lewis attended the University of Northampton 1st ever Sustainability Summit 2023 and received the Best Social Initiative Award for our Surplus Stock Appeal.

The Lewis Foundation has been partnering with local businesses to donate any surplus stock they may have to our charity. This is usually end of line/excess stock, which they can no longer use.

Depending on the nature of the items, the stock is either put into our gift packs gifted to adult cancer patients in hospital or is used to raise funds via the Pop Up Shops we host twice a month Grosvenor Shopping Northampton.

Our key partnership on this initiative has been Barry Tong Katy Tong – Sol Retail and Grosvenor Shopping Northampton – Bailey Earl and all the team at the centre. Without our key partnerships this initiative could not happen. Thank you for all you continue to do to support our charity to help cancer patients in hospital.
