On Thursday 12th October 2023, The Lewis Foundation hosted an event ‘Charity Retail With A Difference’ at Grosvenor Shopping Northampton

Our Co-Founders Lorraine Lewis BCAh and Lee Lewis BCAh welcomed the Mayor and Mayoress of Northampton, Retailers, West Northamptonshire Council, and our amazing stock donors to witness the power of community collaboration firsthand. At The Lewis Foundation, we believe in more than just running a charity shop – we’re about creating opportunities, supporting sustainability, and making a real difference in people’s lives.

✨ Highlights from the Event:

Lee Lewis BCAh and Lorraine Lewis BCAh sharing the journey of The Lewis Foundation, from a Pop Up Shop to our brand-new retail outlet.

Stephenson’s Online Ltd, our long-term supporters, led discussions on businesses giving back and shared insights on donating surplus stock.

Trudi Daurie Retail Manager of Place To Bee, showcased the impact of our work placements, supporting young people with learning difficulties in the community.

The event finished with a tour of our outlet, showcasing our commitment to minimising waste and offering affordable, brand-new items to the community.
