Skills for Care – Case Study

Wheels to Work offers scooter hire for people who struggle with transport to get to and from work, college, and training. Lately, we have seen an increase in social care workers hiring from us. They use the scooter to visit their clients daily and find it an affordable, reliable, and efficient way of travelling

Accordingly, due to this recent uptake in hirers from the care industry, we were contacted by Skills for Care.  They wanted to know more about our services. They offer support for the adult social care industry in England and work with the government, employers, and other partners to help provide the highest quality of care.

Following our initial discussion, Skills for Care asked if we would participate in a national case study as a
transport solution for care workers.

The case study involved two of our long-standing care industry clients. Firstly, they were asked about the benefits of Wheels to Work. Secondly they were asked why they chose us. Finally, the information was collated and Skills for Care wrote a case study which included a report from a care provider looking to us to support their carers.

This case study has provided an insight into the benefits of scooter hire for the care industry.
