Northamptonshire entrepreneur Nicky Allan has launched a new business development consultancy, Purpose Elevated, with a mission that goes far beyond business growth. Nicky is combining her expertise in strategic development with a bold charitable challenge in January 2026: rowing more than 3,200 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from Lanzarote to Antigua, to raise £200,000 for Make-A-Wish UK.

A Business Born from Purpose

Founded in 2025, Purpose Elevated helps organisations grow with impact, building partnerships, shaping values-driven strategies, and unlocking opportunities that benefit both businesses and communities. With a background in health sector business development and a reputation for trust-based collaboration, Nicky brings clarity, creativity, and authenticity to every project.

Earlier this year, Nicky also joined the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, strengthening her ties to the local business community and opening up opportunities to collaborate with fellow members.

As part of Team: Do The Thing, Nicky is training to row across the Atlantic Ocean in January 2026. A novice rower new to the ocean, she will be the only female in a team of four taking on this extraordinary challenge. The team’s mission is to raise £200,000 for Make-A-Wish UK, enough to grant 100 life-changing wishes for critically ill children.

The challenge is not only a test of endurance and resilience but also a powerful metaphor for the values behind Purpose Elevated: vision, grit, and the belief that collective effort can achieve extraordinary outcomes. Covering more than 3,200 miles of open ocean, the row will demand courage, teamwork, and relentless determination.
