More than 200 Harley Davidson owners who ride together through Northampton every Spring in aid of Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity are inviting other avid motorcycle enthusiasts to join the fun.

The April Fools Run has taken place annually in the town for the past 17 years, organised by the owner of independent specialist garage Northants V Twin, Radu Golici and his wife Oana.

Bikers gather at Sixfields Stadium and then motor through the town to Market Square, where Cynthia Spencer Hospice representatives await their arrival with stalls and family fun for all.

Radu, whose company has recently been named as one of the UK’s Top 100 SMEs in the Elite Business 100, said: “It’s a great event, it sounds amazing when we blow the whistle and fire up 200 Harley Davidsons at the same time.

“As long as you’ve got a Harley or Buell, you’re very welcome to join in. It’s feel-good fun as you’re helping a charity while having a good time. Cynthia Spencer is something really close to our hearts, as the hospice has looked after some of our customers.”

This year the spectacular takes place on Saturday 18^th April, starting at 9.30am at Sixfields. If you have a Harley Davidson or Buell and would like to join the ride, ensure you arrive on time to participate in the safety briefing and social aspect of the event beforehand.
