Impact HR Consulting Limited expands UK footprint with acquisition of EffectiveHRM

Impact HR Consulting Limited has expanded its UK footprint with the acquisition of Cardiff-based HR consultancy EffectiveHRM, as part of its strategy to build a national advisory platform for SMEs navigating an increasingly complex employment landscape.

The deal adds a Wales base to Impact HR’s existing operations in Leeds, Essex and Leicester, strengthening its ability to deliver integrated HR and health and safety services across the UK.

Founded in 2011 by employment lawyer Emma del Torto, EffectiveHRM supports more than 150 SMEs across a range of sectors. The business will continue to operate under its existing brand, joining the wider Impact HR group of companies.

Emma will join the Impact HR leadership team, bringing significant expertise in employment law, HR strategy and business growth. All 12 employees from EffectiveHRM will also join the group, further enhancing its HR and health and safety expertise.

Greg Guilford, CEO of Impact HR Consulting, said: “This acquisition is an important step in our continued expansion, adding a base in Wales to our existing locations in Leeds, Essex and Leicester and further strengthening our ability to support SMEs across the UK, building a national HR advisory business that combines local expertise with scale.

“Acquiring EffectiveHRM strengthens our capability in a key region and brings a team that shares our straightforward, commercially focused approach. We see significant opportunity to continue building our presence across the UK through a combination of organic growth and targeted acquisitions.

“We’re also thrilled that Emma is joining our leadership team. Her experience, insight and approach to HR will be a huge asset to us as we continue to grow.”

Emma del Torto added: “Joining Impact HR allows us to accelerate our growth and broaden what we can offer clients, while remaining focused on delivering practical, high-quality advice.

“The alignment between the two businesses was clear from the outset, particularly in terms of culture, values and the importance placed on client relationships.”

The acquisition forms part of Impact HR’s continued expansion strategy, with further growth opportunities under consideration as the business builds out its national platform.
