Help local NHS charity win a Movement for Good award
Member News
Northamptonshire Health Charity is calling on its supporters to help them be in with a chance of winning a £1,000 Movement for Good Award, coordinated by Benefact Group.
The Movement for Good Awards is an annual platform for giving, set up by all the businesses that make up the Benefact Group. It is their opportunity to make a tangible difference to the lives of the people and communities they serve, by supporting the charities, not-for-profit organisations, and community interest projects that mean something to you. This year they are donating more than £1 million, and they can’t do it without you!
You can make a difference. To help Northamptonshire Health Charity be in with a chance of winning one of the £1,000 grants all you have to do is simply visit https://movementforgood.com/#n… and search for their registered charity name Northamptonshire Health Charitable Fund – and complete the form. It takes about a minute or less.
The more nominations a charity receives, the greater its chance of winning, so once you’ve done your part, please do spread the word and make it a movement!
Examples of where the money could help include:
- Buying garden furniture for 1 Willow in Northampton following the upcoming charity-funded refurbishment of their garden space, supporting adults with learning disabilities.
- It could go towards the Children’s Outside Play Area appeal to make things better for children in hospital at Northampton General.
- £1,000 could fund the large mural on the outside wall in the upcoming charity-funded Rehabilitation Garden for the Critical Care Unit at Kettering General Hospital.
- Or, help towards the fundraising target to redevelop the garden area at The Squirrels Short Breaks Centre in Rushden, which supports children and young people with disabilities, which includes making it more accessible for those in wheelchairs.
Charity Fundraiser, Robert Powell said, “If all our supporters can do this, we would be in with a great chance and the £1,000 will make such a big difference to a ward or department across the local NHS hospitals and community services we support!”
