EMCRC begin Cyber PATH student recruitment with online event

The East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre is hosting a live webinar on Wednesday, May 21 at 4pm to give East Midlands students the knowhow they need to apply for the Cyber PATH programme.

Cyber PATH was created by the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group (NCRCG) in partnership with the Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) network. It offers students in full-time higher education a chance to gain real-world experience in the cyber industry while helping defend SMEs across England and Wales from cyber threats.

The online session is open to students studying in East Midlands universities to discover more about Cyber PATH, to find out what it’s like to be part of the programme and how to apply. The hour-long session is hosted by a top cyber security expert from the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group who will explain the process and take questions.

Following the webinar, applications are open from June 2 until June 30, and successful applicants can expect:

  • Hands-on work with senior security professionals
  • Flexible programme to fit around their studies
  • Paid experience delivering real services to businesses
  • Skills and training to boost career prospects

The programme seeks ambitious, curious students from all backgrounds – no technical expertise required, just a willingness to learn and contribute. Students must be in full-time education and have the right to work in the UK.
