Cransley Hospice Trust’s Community Christmas Tree Recycle Returns in January!

Latest news from Cransley Hospice Trust

Save the date and have your REAL tree collected and recycled in 2026

Make space for generosity this festive season by taking part in Cransley Hospice Trust’s much-loved Community Christmas Tree Recycle; returning from 9th to 11th January 2026.

This environmentally friendly initiative is powered by an incredible team of volunteers who’ll be collecting real Christmas trees from across a wide range of postcode areas: NN8, NN9, NN10, NN14, NN15, NN16, NN17, NN18, NN29 7, plus Earls Barton, Mears Ashby, and Oundle.

Once your tree is picked up, it’s chipped and reused to benefit cherished local spaces like Water Meadow Park in Wellingborough and Sywell Country Park, turning seasonal waste into something wonderful for the community.

By registering your tree for collection (bookings open later this year!), you’ll not only be recycling responsibly, you’ll also be directly supporting Cransley Hospice Trust in its mission to make every moment matter for patients and families facing life-limiting illness in North Northamptonshire.

This year, we’re hoping to collect more than 2,000 trees and with your help, we can do it!

A special shoutout to Northants 4×4 Response, who support us with this event year after year. In recognition of their support, 10% of all proceeds will be donated to their vital emergency services.
