Cransley Hospice Trust seeks new talent to join the board of trustees
Cransley Hospice Trust, the end of life care charity in North Northamptonshire and Northants Chamber Charity of the Year is seeking to strengthen its board of trustees following the recent retirement of several valued members.
As well as raising funds to enable a better end of life experience for those with a life-limiting illness, Cransley Hospice Trust provide information and guidance, influence end of life service development and enhance modern hospice services for patients and their families.
The Charity is seeking individuals in the area who can bring their talent and expertise to help steer the organisation as it embarks on a new chapter in the support and development of modern hospice care in the region.
Sitting on the board of trustees for a charity holds a significant responsibility, as you will play a critical role in ensuring that a charity is well-managed, financially sound, and effective in achieving its mission.
Cransley Hospice Trust are specifically looking for people with previous board experience, who will act in the best interest of the charity. Trustees who are prepared to dedicate time and effort to the charities ambitions. They will need to have the ability to make informed, balanced, and ethical decisions, to deal with complex issues that require sound judgment. An understanding of the importance of being accountable to stakeholders, including beneficiaries, donors, and the public.
Cransley welcomes individuals who are confident to question and challenge decisions to ensure the charity is on the right path.
Cransley Hospice Trust is based locally in Kettering and serves the community around North Northamptonshire.
