Charity Delivers Easter Support to Hundreds of Local Families
On Thursday 26th March 2026, The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation (TMDF) has delivered its annual Easter distribution, supporting hundreds of families across Northamptonshire through its established network of school partnerships.
Operating from its Food & Essentials Hub, the charity coordinated the collection of food parcels by partner schools, ensuring timely support for families ahead of the Easter holiday period.
In addition to essential provisions, more than 500 Easter eggs were distributed to children, made possible through donations from supporters and community partners.
On the day, TMDF was supported by fantastic volunteers from Nationwide UK and the Moulton Masters Walking Football Club, who assisted with the movement of parcels and played a key role in ensuring everything ran smoothly.
TMDF works with over 90 schools across Northamptonshire, using this network to identify and support families experiencing hardship. Its model focuses on both immediate relief and longer-term community support.
This latest distribution highlights the continued importance of collaborative efforts between charities, corporate volunteers and community organisations in addressing local need.
