Budget rumours are still swirling in the lead-up to the 30th October and one of the expected changes is the Fuel Duty.
What is it – and how will it affect you?
It’s the tax included in the price of fuel, such as petrol, diesel, and any other vehicle fuels in the UK. Of course, if you’re an EV driver, you’re currently exempt (there are rumours of a 2025 levy.)
Changes to it have been frozen for the past decade and pretty much anyone who drives is subject to its reach – small businesses, manufacturers, distributors, retailers. And of course, you and me when refuelling. A 5p tax could be added.
To allow our clients and local business community to stay up to date, we’re hosting a post-Budget debrief at Northampton Saints Franklin Gardens, on the 6th of November,.
We’re down to the last tickets so make sure you book now.
