Add some colour to your family fun in rainbow race
A polychromatic display of colour returns to Northampton this summer as Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity brings back a fun-filled community favourite.
For a rainbow-hued race, look no further than the popular Northampton Colour Run, which this year will be held on Sunday 14th June at Overstone Park.
The 5km fun run sees participants run through multicoloured paint powder as they make their way around the course, resulting in them sporting a vibrant medley of colour.
The ‘Paint Stations’ are armed with natural, non-toxic and bio-degradable coloured powder paint, which means it is safe for the environment and everyone taking part.
There’s no time limit to the interactive event, so entrants can run, walk or dance their way round with friends and family to help support Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity, which provides invaluable palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Early Bird prices of £15 per adult, £10 per child and £45 per family, are available until 11.59pm on Thursday 9th April 2026.
From Friday 10th April 2026, registration costs £20 for an adult, £12 for a child and £50 for a family of four. Under 5s are free.
Sarah Sturman, Community and Events Fundraiser at Cynthia Spencer Hospice, said: “Every handful of colour thrown, every step taken, and every laugh shared helps us continue providing specialist palliative care for local people when it matters most. Your fun fuels our care.
“A high‑energy burst of fun where you can run, walk, skip, or dance your way through a storm of bright powder and come out the other side gloriously unrecognisable.
“This is your chance to get messy, loud, and brilliantly colourful — all while supporting Cynthia Spencer Hospice as we continue celebrating 50 years of care and compassion for our community.”
