1940s influencer supports Big Band Bash

A 1940s influencer has offered her support to next month’s Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity’s Big Band Bash.

Passionate nostalgist Hannah Hall, known online as Real Vintage Dollshouse, will be attending the elegant event, which will embody the Warring Forties era, as well as creating and sharing content across her platforms to help spread the word.

As well as her love of all things 1940s, the popular influencer, who has almost one million followers, has a background in bereavement, making her the perfect fit for this new nostalgic entertainment event.

Cynthia’s 1940s Big Band Bash, which features 20-piece band Jazz Colossus, will be held on Saturday 15th November from 6.30pm at the Mercure Hotel Northampton.

Guests can step back in time to celebrate the glitzy glamour of the era. Tickets include a classic welcome drink, served with vintage flair, plus a bespoke three-course meal, thoughtfully crafted to feature 1940s favourites.

Tickets cost £70 per person and are only available until 11.59pm on Sunday 2nd November. A table of 10 is £630.

Hannah is sharing a special offer to her followers to encourage attendance to this night of timeless charm, which also includes a raffle and auction in aid of a truly worthy cause.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity provides invaluable palliative care across West Northamptonshire for people living with a life-limiting illness. They support patients and their loved ones with inpatient care, outpatient services, wellbeing services, Hospice@Home, lymphoedema services and a clinical nurse specialist service.

At the Big Band Bash, there will be photobooth opportunities to enable guests to take home a memento of the night, as well as a fully licensed bar, and live music to keep the 1940s swing in action until the final hour.

Hannah said: “I have been to countless 1940s events where people love nothing more than whipping out the bunting or a donning a vintage dress, coming together in shared nostalgia to make some memories – and I love them all. But this one hits differently, because I am partnering with Cynthia Spencer Hospice for their 1940s Big Band Bash and I couldn’t be more excited.

“Being somebody who understands the importance of end-of-life care both on a professional and personal level, this is a cause that I am deeply passionate about.

“If you’re like me and you love nothing more than pulling up those stockings or giving a good old twang to those braces or you simply want to give something back to a charity that makes such a difference, come along to this fantastic event, which isn’t just about looking to the past, it’s about making a real difference to someone’s future.”

Community and Events Fundraiser Lead Michelle Morris said: “We are delighted to have Hannah on board for this fantastic new event. She couldn’t be a more perfect fit with her enthusiasm for the era and previous experience of palliative care in her role in bereavement services.

“Hannah’s platform and following gives us another fantastic opportunity to share what we do and why we do it with a new audience so we hope Hannah’s followers will also embrace the opportunity to get glammed up, spend the night with fellow lovers of all things 1940s, and enjoy some impressive live music, all while raising money for our amazing services.

“There are still tickets remaining, come and celebrate both heritage and heart in this elegant experience!”
