Why Foster with Northamptonshire Children’s Trust?
Northamptonshire Children’s Trust supports over 1,000 children in care across the county. With a national shortage of foster carers, we are actively seeking compassionate individuals and families to provide safe, loving homes.
✅ Types of fostering include short-term, long-term, emergency, respite, and parent-and-child placements – there’s something to suit many lifestyles.
✅ Full training and ongoing support are provided by experienced social workers.
✅ Financial support is available to help cover the costs of caring for a child.
✅ You don’t need to be a certain age, relationship status, or homeowner—just someone with a spare room and a big heart.
📽️ At the events, you’ll see a short film titled “The Run”, which highlights the real-life impact that fostering can have on the life of a young person.
🗣️ You’ll also hear personal stories from experienced foster carers and have the chance to ask questions anonymously in a safe, welcoming space.
Whether you’re just curious or ready to take the next step, these sessions are a great opportunity to hear from foster carers, ask questions, and find out how fostering could fit into your life.
