The Government has released a statement regarding changes to the travel corridor lists for England.

Greece – The islands of Lesvos, Milos (Serifos), Tinos, Santorini and Zakynthos added to the Travel corridor list – England

The Government has announced that the islands of Lesvos, Milos (Serifos), Tinos, Santorini and Zakynthos will be added to the travel corridor list in England from 04:00 on Saturday 10 October

People arriving in England from the islands of Lesvos, Milos (Serifos), Tinos, Santorini and Zakynthos from 4am Saturday 10 October will no longer need to self-isolate for 2 weeks.

The FCDO has updated the travel advice for Greece to reflect the changes, the details of which is as follows:

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has changed the level of advice for advice for Greece. Please see below:

Greece

The islands of Lesvos, Milos (Serifos), Tinos, Santorini and Zakynthos are now exempt from the FCDO advice against all non-essential international travel. This is based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks. There are also changes to self-isolation requirements on return from these islands. (‘Summary’ page)

This is based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks. Mainland Greece and all other Greek islands are exempt from the FCDO’s advice against all non-essential international travel.
