Northamptonshire Manufacturing Forum x Axil – 20th November 2026

We hope that you can join us on the 20th November for the next Northamptonshire Manufacturing Forum

Kindly hosted by Axil Integrated Services, Corby.

A conversation for manufacturers

Manufacturing businesses are dealing with pressure from several directions at once. Costs are rising, legislation is changing, skills are harder to secure, and expectations around sustainability continue to increase.

But what does that actually mean on the ground?

This forum brings manufacturers together for an open discussion about the issues affecting their businesses now and the changes they are preparing for.

The conversation will cover areas including costs and budgets, legislation and compliance, recruitment and skills, sustainability and waste, supply-chain pressures, and technology and productivity.

Waste will form part of the discussion, particularly the changing cost of landfill and Waste to Energy, the impact of regulation and what better use of waste data and scrap information can reveal about costs and material value.

The discussion will be deliberately open. There will be no presentations or sales pitch. The aim is to hear what manufacturers are experiencing, share practical observations and compare how different businesses are responding to the same pressures.

About Axil

Axil is a UK waste and resource management business working with manufacturers across the country, including automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical and food manufacturing.

Axil combines on-site experience with clear data, helping manufacturers see what waste they produce, where it comes from, what it costs and where material value could be recovered. Its Portal and MI bring this together across sites, including waste volumes, costs, rebates, compliance and performance.

That gives Axil a broad view of the pressures manufacturers are facing, from rising treatment costs and changing legislation to sustainability and resource value. Axil is bringing that perspective to the forum to help create an open, practical discussion between manufacturers.
