TC Group announces charity partnership with Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation

Partnership aims to increase access to emotional support across Milton Keynes while promoting positive workplace wellbeing.
TC Group Milton Keynes has pledged its support to the Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation, becoming one of its valued Community Supporters for 2026/27. The partnership reinforces the business’s commitment to supporting positive mental health and wellbeing, while helping expand access to vital support services across the local community.
The new partnership will see colleagues raise essential funds, increase awareness and work alongside the charity throughout the year, while also benefiting from dedicated resources, workshops and wellbeing initiatives delivered by the Arthur Ellis team.
Working primarily with children, young people and vulnerable adults facing complex personal circumstances, Arthur Ellis provides rapid access to one-to-one emotional support, helping people access help quickly without lengthy waiting lists.
The charity was founded by CEO Jon Manning following his own two-decade battle with mental ill-health and a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder in 2016. Having experienced first-hand the challenges of accessing timely support, Jon launched Arthur Ellis with the aim of ensuring people can access emotional support quickly, regardless of their background, circumstances or ability to pay.
Today, Arthur Ellis supports around 2,000 people each year across Milton Keynes. However, the charity estimates that more than 20,000 children locally require support but are unable to access it. Since the pandemic, demand for its services has increased by more than 806%, highlighting the growing need for accessible mental health provision. At the same time, youth mentoring provision in Milton Keynes has been cut by 83% since 2010, making early intervention and community support more important than ever.
For TC Group, the partnership’s about more than raising money. It’s an opportunity to support a local organisation that’s changing lives across Milton Keynes while continuing to strengthen its own commitment to colleague wellbeing. By combining education, awareness and practical support, the partnership will create lasting benefits both within the workplace and across the wider community.
Commenting on the partnership, Jon Manning, CEO of Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation, said: “It’s incredibly important for us to have the support of local businesses such as TC Group. Around 93% of our funding goes directly towards delivering sessions and support within the community, with just 7% supporting the core team responsible for operating the service. Without organisations like TC by our side, we simply couldn’t continue reaching the people who need us most.
“We’re delighted to welcome TC Group as a 2026/27 Community Supporter and look forward to working together to make a positive impact across Milton Keynes. Partnerships like this not only help us reach more people in need but also encourage important conversations about mental health within workplaces and communities alike.”
As part of the partnership, TC Group colleagues will have access to a range of initiatives delivered by the Foundation, including online resources, educational content and an in-person workshop planned for November. Jon and the charity will also work closely with TC Group’s Employee Board to encourage open conversations, challenge stigma and foster a supportive workplace culture.
Stephen Henson, Associate Director at TC Group Milton Keynes, added: “Mental health and wellbeing are incredibly important to us, both as an employer and as a business rooted in the Milton Keynes community.
“What particularly resonated with us was Arthur Ellis’ focus on providing rapid access to support. Waiting lists remain a significant challenge across the UK and the incredible work Jon and his team are doing locally is making a tangible difference to families and individuals across Milton Keynes.
“It’s why we’re so proud to be supporting the Foundation and the life-changing work it delivers every day. We hope this partnership helps more people across Milton Keynes access the support they need, when they need it most, while also encouraging even more open conversations about mental health within our own teams and across the wider community.”
Together, TC Group Milton Keynes and Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation are committed to creating lasting change by improving access to emotional support, reducing stigma and ensuring more people receive help before they reach crisis point.
