Sometimes, the smallest things start the biggest conversations.
A shared interest.
A simple “Hey, are you a Bollywood fan?”
And suddenly… you have a new friend. 🌍🤝While walking through the streets of Samarkand, Uzbekistan, I noticed Grazyna M Skarpas from Norway wearing a T-shirt that was all about Bollywood.
Naturally, I had to start a conversation. 😄
What started with a simple chat about Bollywood turned into a fun discovery — Grazyna is a huge Bollywood fan! 🎬🇮🇳
And the funniest part?
We randomly bumped into each other three different times, on different streets of Samarkand! 😂
Each time, we continued our Bollywood conversations, shared stories, laughed… and before we knew it, we had become friends.
It made me realise something:
👉 Conversation starters don’t always need to be complicated.
Sometimes, it’s just a T-shirt.
Sometimes, it’s a badge.
Sometimes, it’s a pin.
And that’s one thing I really enjoy about BNI (Business Network International) .
The BNI Lighthouse Northampton Pin is more than just something you wear. It can be an instant conversation starter — and I’ve met so many interesting people across the world simply because of that little pin. 🌎
You never know where a small conversation might lead.
A connection.
A friendship.
A business opportunity.
Or perhaps… a 30-minute Bollywood discussion on a random street in Samarkand! 😂🎬
So, never underestimate the power of small things.
Wear your interests.
Wear your identity.
Wear your BNI Pin.
And most importantly — start the conversation. 💬
