Local businesses and residents are invited to come together for an evening of food, fun and fundraising as Auntie’s Cookery Academy launches ticket sales for its first-ever Quiz & Musical Bingo Night.

Taking place on Thursday 20th August at Corby Manor House, Tresham College, the event promises an entertaining evening while raising vital funds to help equip the Academy’s first training kitchen and support its inaugural cohort of young people.

Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary drink, before enjoying a hot buffet prepared by Auntie Em’s Kitchen. The evening will then feature a team quiz, a donation bar, Musical Bingo and a charity raffle with a fantastic selection of prizes donated by local businesses, including; 5x PT sessions donated by GymBlok,  2x tickets to harness your inner viking with Axe Masters, a chance to relax and unwind with a treatment and blowdry at The Hair & Beauty Lounge. 

Auntie’s Cookery Academy has been established to equip vulnerable young people with the practical life skills, confidence and employability they need to live independently and build successful futures. The charity will deliver accredited cookery and life skills programmes, helping learners progress into further education, apprenticeships and employment.

Our founder, Emily said:

“This is much more than just a fundraising event. Every ticket sold brings us one step closer to opening the doors of Auntie’s Cookery Academy and welcoming our first cohort of young people. The money raised will help us purchase the equipment needed to transform an empty kitchen into a fully functioning training space where young people can gain practical life skills, qualifications and confidence for the future.”

Tickets are available from £15 per person, which includes:
