Northampton asbestos consultancy recruits 13 new starters in six months

A growing asbestos consultancy in Northampton has welcomed 13 new employees during the first six months of 2026 as it continues to expand.

Acorn Analytical Services has recruited for a wide range of operational, technical, commercial and administrative roles between January and June.

The appointments include experienced asbestos surveyors and consultants, laboratory analysts, account managers and support staff, as well as trainees and apprentices taking their first steps towards careers in the asbestos industry.

The recruitment drive began in January with the appointment of Operations Administrator Evie Riley. Then, in March, the company welcomed Asbestos Surveyors Joe Szor and Leia Cameron, alongside Laboratory Analysts Sebastian Robinson and Mussamat Uddin.

Commercial Manager Ben James and Accounts Assistant Lisa James joined the business in April, together with experienced Asbestos Consultant Dave Davies-Evans.

Acorn continued to invest in developing new talent during May, recruiting Trainee Asbestos Surveyor Ben Whitehouse. In June, Apprentice Asbestos Consultants Lewis Manton and James Williamson, Housing Account Manager Shaun Thomas and Asbestos Consultant Billy Baker also joined the company.

The new appointments reflect growth across the business and the variety of career opportunities available within the asbestos industry.
