Local celebs support charity’s glitzy anniversary event

Two of Northamptonshire’s most famous faces will don their glad rags to mark Cynthia Spencer Hospice’s 50th anniversary in a glitzy gala.

Renowned writer, radio presenter and former Communards musician Reverend Richard Coles will be a special guest at the prestigious black-tie ball on Thursday 15th October, with a soulful performance from local singing sensation Billy Lockett.

Award winning community choir Northampton Sings Out will also perform live at the event, which will be held at Hanger One, Sywell Aerodrome, to celebrate the hospice’s five inspirational decades of palliative care for the West Northamptonshire community.

Gala guests will be treated to a red-carpet reception and welcome drinks before a glamorous evening of live entertainment, a delicious three-course meal, charity auction, prize raffle and dancing for an unforgettable night.

Supporters, local businesses and friends of the hospice are all welcome to attend and tickets are on sale now for the celebration, which has just confirmed EMW Law LLP as Gold Sponsor on the night. All proceeds will go to the charity to ensure vital funds to enable Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity to continue supporting local people and their families for the next 50 years.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity CEO Asma Maya Joseph-Hussain said: “For half a century, Cynthia Spencer Hospice has stood at the heart of our community, delivering specialist care, comfort and compassion to local people and their families when they need it most. This Black-Tie Gala marks not only a celebration of our past, but a defining moment for our future.
