

Winners revealed as Commsave’s 321 Prize Draw breaks records for second year running
Commsave Credit Union has announced the winners of its 321 Prize Draw – and with record entries and membership hitting a new high, the campaign has once again exceeded all expectations.
The three-month draw, which launched in February, attracted over 1,700 entries, surpassing the record set last year when it drew more than 1,500 new members in four months. Total membership at Commsave now stands at nearly 43,000.
Matt Goulding, Chief Executive, said: “Huge congratulations to all three of our winners – it’s brilliant to hear how much the prize means to them. This draw was designed with a clear purpose: to encourage our members to recommend and refer Commsave to their friends and colleagues – and it has worked. We already know that our members rate us highly and refer people to us every day, and we wanted to reward that. Every new member who joins is choosing a different kind of finance – one that exists to serve its members rather than generate profit for shareholders. That’s something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Among this year’s winners are Meesam, 28, who took home the £2,000 second prize, and Lewis, 24, who won the £3,000 top prize – both joining Commsave for the first time within the last year.
For Meesam, who joined in December 2025 after a colleague at work pointed him in the right direction, the win came as a complete surprise. “I felt very happy and surprised when I received the news. I haven’t ever won anything, so I’m feeling very lucky,” he said. He’s already thinking about how to spend the money – with a dream trip to Egypt firmly on the radar. “I’m not too sure yet. I might go on holiday this year – one of my dream destinations is Egypt.”
Lewis, who joined in March 2026 after being referred by a colleague following a stint at university in Bournemouth, had only just discovered the draw existed when the email landed in his inbox. “I couldn’t believe it – I didn’t know you had this prize draw going ahead until I received an email a week before it ended. It felt amazing to hear the news, and I’m quite overwhelmed with joy by it.” He’s planning to save the majority of the winnings – and treat his family to a meal. “The £3,000 will help me out with my savings. I’m also thinking of treating my family to a meal.”
The 321 campaign has played a significant role in raising the profile of Commsave, with the draw attracting a mix of new joiners and existing members who referred friends, colleagues and family. The campaign was promoted across social media, Spotify, Northamptonshire billboards and member emails.
Behind the prize draw is a credit union that exists for one reason: to help people manage their money better. Commsave offers safe savings, affordable credit and financial education – and as a not-for-profit, every penny is reinvested into members and communities, including more than £150,000 distributed to local charities and good causes through its Community Fund since 2022.
This summer, Commsave will be celebrating a significant milestone – its 35th birthday. The credit union has a packed programme of plans in store for members, including another prize draw – one that promises to be bigger than ever and firmly focused on sharing the love with the people who matter most: its members.
