Proaction Martial Arts Continues Commitment to Local Youth Sport for Third Year Running
At Proaction Martial Arts, we are proud to continue our long-standing support of grassroots sport through our ongoing sponsorship of ON’s RFC “London Irish 2026” Tour – now entering its third consecutive year.
As a local business deeply rooted in the Northampton community, supporting young people and local teams is not something we treat as a marketing initiative. It’s part of our wider responsibility to contribute positively to the environments where young people are developing discipline, confidence, and resilience.
Investing in more than sport
Grassroots rugby, like martial arts, is about far more than competition. While match days showcase performance, the real development happens in training – in the consistency, effort, and mindset required to improve over time.
These young athletes are learning:
- Discipline through regular training and commitment
- Resilience when facing setbacks and challenges
- Teamwork through shared goals and accountability
- Confidence by pushing personal limits
- Leadership by supporting those around them
These are foundational skills that extend far beyond sport and into education, careers, and life.
The connection between martial arts and rugby
At Proaction Martial Arts, our mission is lifelong learning and character development through martial arts and fitness.
We see a clear alignment between martial arts and team sports like rugby. Both demand respect, structure, discipline, and mental strength. Both also teach young people how to handle pressure, take responsibility, and remain consistent in pursuit of long-term goals.
This shared philosophy is what makes our partnership with ON’s RFC so meaningful.
Supporting the Northampton community
As a Northampton-based business, we are passionate about giving back to the local area that supports us.
Our sponsorship of ON’s RFC is part of a wider commitment to:
- Supporting youth development opportunities
- Investing in grassroots sport
- Encouraging positive environments for young people
- Strengthening community ties through sport and activity
We believe that when local businesses invest in local youth, the entire community benefits.
Looking ahead
As we enter another year of partnership with ON’s RFC “London Irish 2026” Tour, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that build stronger, more confident, and more capable young people.
We are proud to stand behind this team and continue contributing to the growth of grassroots sport in Northampton and beyond.
Here’s to another year of development, discipline, and opportunity .
