Fundraising fiesta to spin a fifty
Northampton town centre office hub Vulcan Works is hosting a fundraising fiesta next month to support a beloved local charity.
The team at the innovative workspace is taking part in the Franklin’s £50 Challenge, a local initiative that sees teams across Milton Keynes, Northampton and the surrounding areas competing against each other to raise as much charity cash as possible in three months with just a £50 stake.
With their fifty-pound note, Vulcan Works has organised a whole day of fundraising on Friday 27th March in support of The Lewis Foundation, which provides vital support and care packages to adults undergoing cancer treatment.
During the day there will be a charity bake sale, with sweet treats on offer for customers and visitors. Both cake and cash donations are welcome throughout the day.
From 6pm to 8.30pm the team will host a charity quiz night at a cost of £10 per person.
Customer experience assistant Sian Richardson said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and raise money for an incredible cause. We’ve purposefully chosen to throw two events at different times in the hope of gaining as much support as possible to help The Lewis Foundation.
“Whether you’re a quiz expert or just coming along for a good time, it’s set to be a fantastic evening – all while supporting a brilliant charity. Plus, the winning team gets bragging rights and a shiny trophy!”
To book your place for the quiz night, please donate £10 to https://www.justgiving.com/page/vulcan-works-1 and let the Vulcan Works team know how many tickets you have bought by emailing info@vulcanworks.co.uk
