Showcase your business and meet your future workforce
Businesses across Northamptonshire have been invited to help students ‘Discover Your Future’ at Northampton College’s Daventry Campus on Tuesday, 10 March.
This event offers an opportunity to connect with young people and their families and to be part of a celebration of the wide range of opportunities available across the Daventry area.
The College hopes the event will encourage local young people to remain in Daventry to continue their education and secure employment within the area. ‘Discover Your Future’ plays a key role in opening their eyes to what’s possible locally – whether that’s developing new skills, improving wellbeing, or exploring clear pathways into meaningful employment.
Employers are invited to host a stand in a dedicated Careers Zone from 1pm to 3pm, offering the opportunity to:
- Meet and engage with students from local schools
- Showcase career pathways, job roles, and apprenticeship opportunities
- Inspire young people at an early stage of their career decision-making
- Provide information on wellbeing and support services
Businesses can also stay on to be involved in the College’s main Open Event later in the day, meeting prospective students and parents.
Principal of Northampton College, Jason Lancaster, said: “By taking part across the day, businesses will play a key role in helping us prepare students for their next steps while strengthening links between education and industry.
“We would be delighted to have a wide range of local employers involved and look forward to working in partnership to support future talent in the Daventry area.”
